Florence + the Machine Announce 2026 North American Tour

Florence + the Machine will embark on a sweeping North American tour in 2026, marking the band’s first major run across the continent since 2022’s Dance Fever tour.
The newly announced Everybody Scream Tour will begin in April and include a string of arena dates, among them performances at New York’s Madison Square Garden and Brooklyn’s Barclays Centre, as well as two nights at Los Angeles’ Kia Forum.
The tour follows Florence Welch’s recently announced European and UK dates scheduled for early 2026, making the upcoming year one of her busiest in recent memory. Support acts will vary across the North American shows, with Rachel Chinouriri, SOFIA ISELLA, CMAT and Mannequin Pussy joining on select stops.
Fans can find full tour details and register for artist presales at florenceandthemachine.net/tour.
The tour will coincide with the release of Florence’s sixth studio album, Everybody Scream, which arrives on 31 October. The record marks a significant creative evolution for Welch, who has spent the past two years writing and recording the project with a close circle of collaborators. Among them are Mark Bowen of IDLES, who also appears in the Autumn de Wilde-directed video for the album’s title track, as well as Grammy-winning producer Aaron Dessner and singer-songwriter Mitski.
Two singles have already been released – Everybody Scream and One of the Greats – offering fans a glimpse into the record’s cinematic and introspective sound. The album is expected to delve into themes of transformation, resilience and the blurred boundaries between the physical and spiritual.
In recent interviews, Welch has spoken openly about her recovery from a serious health scare that forced her to cancel shows during the Dance Fever tour. The experience, which required emergency surgery, proved a turning point for the artist. “It felt like a moment of reckoning,” she told fans at a later show, describing how the ordeal inspired her to explore the ideas of healing, faith and mortality that underpin Everybody Scream.
The record marks a reflective new chapter for Welch, who underwent lifesaving surgery during the Dance Fever tour. Her recovery led her to explore themes of spirituality, mysticism and mortality. Everybody Scream delves into ideas of womanhood, healing and the supernatural aspects of everyday life.
Over the course of her career, Welch has released five acclaimed albums: Lungs (2009), Ceremonials (2011), How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful (2015), High as Hope (2018) and Dance Fever (2022). Known for her powerful live performances and ethereal voice, she has topped charts on both sides of the Atlantic, headlined festivals worldwide and collaborated with artists such as The Rolling Stones, Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift.
She has also published Useless Magic, a collection of lyrics, poetry and drawings offering insight into her creative world.
Everybody Scream is available to preorder now.
