Charli XCX and Lorde to Headline Lollapalooza 2026 in Chicago

A host of international stars, including Charli XCX, Tate McRae and Lorde, are set to headline the 2026 edition of Lollapalooza.
The four-day festival will take place from 30 July to 2 August in Grant Park, Chicago, a central venue that has long hosted the event. More than 100 artists are expected to perform across eight stages, with organisers promising a mix of major names, emerging talent and interactive programming throughout the weekend.
Among the other headline acts are Olivia Dean, John Summit, JENNIE, The Smashing Pumpkins and The xx, reflecting the festival’s tradition of blending pop, electronic and alternative music at the top of the bill.
They will be joined by a wide-ranging supporting line-up, including Lil Uzi Vert, Turnstile, The Neighbourhood, YUNGBLUD, Beabadoobee and Ethel Cain. Electronic and pop acts such as Empire Of The Sun, Major Lazer and Zara Larsson are also due to perform.
Organisers say the 2026 programme has been designed to appeal to a broad audience, with additional performances from artists spanning genres including hip-hop, indie rock and experimental pop. These include Freddie Gibbs, Wet Leg, Blood Orange and 5 Seconds of Summer, alongside a range of newer acts.
International representation remains a key feature of the festival. Japanese duo Yoasobi are among the global performers announced, while K-pop is also strongly represented with appearances from aespa and (G)I-dle. Organisers have also highlighted a number of emerging artists as “ones to watch”, including Audrey Hobert, Oklou and Finn Wolfhard.
First held in 1991 as a touring festival, Lollapalooza has since evolved into a major annual event in Chicago, drawing hundreds of thousands of attendees each year. Its reputation for showcasing both established stars and rising talent has helped it remain one of the most prominent fixtures on the global festival calendar.
Tickets for the 2026 edition will be released in stages. A presale will offer early access to the lowest-priced four-day passes for a limited period, before general sale begins later the same day. Organisers said further details, including the line-up by day and set times, will be announced in the coming weeks.
The full line-up and ticket information are available via the festival’s official website.
