Record Store Day Unveils Exclusive Black Friday Releases from Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, and more

Record Store Day is delivering a Black Friday sale to end all sales. Here’s everything you need to know.

Record Store Day has announced its exclusive releases for its sister event, Black Friday 2024, including very special vinyl offerings from superstars such as Olivia Rodrigo, Billie Eilish and Noah Kahan.

Record Store Day Black Friday returns on 29 November from 8am, with a line-up of vinyl releases exclusive to indie record shops up and down the UK. To find your local indie record store participating in Record Store Day Black Friday, click here.

Olivia Rodrigo, who dropped her chart-topping sophomore album GUTS last year, is set to release an expanded deluxe edition titled GUTS (Spilled) on Record Store Day Black Friday. This special edition will feature a 2LP set on coloured vinyl, including five bonus tracks.

Billie Eilish fans are in for a treat as well. The US superstar, currently on tour promoting her third album HIT ME HARD AND SOFT, will be offering a unique version of the album featuring only her isolated vocals on every track. This limited release provides a raw and intimate listening experience for fans eager to hear Billie’s voice in its purest form. Three songs from HIT ME HARD AND SOFT have already made waves in the UK Top 10, with Lunch and Birds of a Feather both peaking at Number 2, while Chihiro reached Number 7. Her latest single, Wildflower, is steadily climbing the charts, recently peaking at Number 23 and showing strong momentum.

Noah Kahan, the artist behind 2024’s biggest hit, Stick Season, is also joining the Black Friday lineup with a special coloured vinyl LP titled Town Hall (Stick Season Collaborations). This release brings together all the duets from the deluxe edition of his third album, Stick Season Forever, for the very first time. Fans can expect collaborations with artists like Post Malone, Sam Fender, and Lizzy McAlpine. Stick Season, the album’s title track, spent an impressive seven consecutive weeks at Number 1 on the UK charts earlier this year, making it 2024’s longest-running consecutive chart-topper. Sabrina Carpenter’s Espresso matched its seven-week reign but achieved the feat non-consecutively.

These releases are designed to enhance the music experience and celebrate the artistry behind each album.
