6 Types of Fans You’ll Meet In The Concert Queue

Planning on queueing for your next concert in an attempt to get barricade and have an amazing view of your favourite artist? Here’s some of the other fans you may encounter in the queue…

The Queue Manager

Keeping the queue in check is a difficult job, but don’t worry, this fan has it covered! With making sure everyone is staying in their spots in the queue and getting there super early, nothing gets past the organised, self-appointed queue manager.

The Very Prepared Fan

Are you in the queue and you need some water? Maybe it’s raining and you need a waterproof poncho? Are you bored and you want to play some Uno? Just find the one fan in the queue whose bag probably resembles that of Mary Poppins. They have brought everything to the concert, “just incase!”

The New Bestie (the talkative fan)

Often found with the Solo Fan in the queue, the New Bestie can’t wait to discuss everything about their favourite artist with you! “How many times have you seen them?” “Where did you travel from?” There is nothing the Talkative Fan loves more than discussing everything with their new friends, and you will probably be exchanging Instagrams at the end of the show!

The Fan Project Organiser

The queue is often where a fan project to honour their favourite artist is put into action, and there is always one super organised individual making sure this runs smoothly. You will probably see them running down the queue with little bits of paper for you to hold to your phone or something to sign. They are constantly busy, making sure the fan project is a success.

The Fashion Icon

Is it a concert or a fashion show? To the fashion icon, it’s the same thing! You’ll probably see them in the queue, dressed in an incredible outfit, which immediately makes you feel slightly underdressed. Is it an outfit, or a subtle reference to their favourite song? Every detail is thought through with the fashion icon of the concert queue.

The International Superfan

Not only has this fan made time to queue up early, but they also have travelled internationally, often frequently, to see their favourite artist. Nothing is stopping this fan from attending the tour, and they won’t be deterred by the distances they need to travel.
