The Last Dinner Party Announce 35-Date Headline Tour and New Album, From The Pyre

The Last Dinner Party have announced details of an ambitious new headline tour, spanning the UK, Ireland, Australia, and Europe.

The 35-date run kicks off in Dublin on 14 November at the 3Arena, before weaving across the UK and Ireland and culminating in two huge shows at London’s O2 Academy Brixton on 7 and 8 December. The tour then continues in January with dates in Australia, followed by an extensive European leg through February, concluding at Oslo’s Sentrum Scene on 6 March.

Alongside the tour news, the London five-piece confirmed that their second album, From The Pyre, will be released on 17 October 2025 via Island EMI. Produced by Grammy award-winner Markus Dravs (Wolf Alice, Florence + The Machine, Björk), the record was introduced with lead single, This Is The Killer Speaking, accompanied by a striking video.

The band describe From The Pyre as a “collection of stories” bound together by the idea of an album-as-mythos. “The Pyre itself is an allegorical place in which these tales originate, a place of violence and destruction but also regeneration, passion and light.”

“The songs are character-driven but still deeply personal, a commonplace life event pushed to pathological extremes. Being ghosted becomes a Western dance with a killer, and heartbreak laughs in the face of the apocalypse. Lyrics invoke rifles, scythes, sailors, saints, cowboys, floods, Mother Earth, Joan of Arc, and blazing infernos. We found this kind of evocative imagery to be the most honest and truthful way to discuss the way our experiences felt, giving each the emotional weight it deserves.”

“This record feels a little darker, more raw and more earthy; it takes place looking out at a sublime landscape rather than seated an opulent table. It also feels metatextual and cheeky in places, like a knowing look reflected back at ourselves.”

Building on the success of their chart-topping 2023 debut, Prelude to Ecstasy, the new album promises a darker, rawer, and more expansive sound. “It takes place looking out at a sublime landscape rather than seated at an opulent table,” the band notes, adding that it also contains “a knowing look reflected back at ourselves.”

The Last Dinner Party have quickly established themselves as one of the UK’s most exciting new acts.

With two BRIT Awards already to their name, including Breakthrough Artist earlier this year, and a track record of selling out shows worldwide – most recently three huge nights at London’s Eventim Apollo – the band’s rise has been nothing short of meteoric.

With From The Pyre and a major tour on the horizon, The Last Dinner Party’s momentum shows no sign of slowing.

Tickets for the upcoming tour go on general sale at 10am local time on Friday 12 September, with fans who pre-order the album via the band’s official store receiving early access to pre-sale.
