Louis Tomlinson is back – and in this new chapter, he’s coming in strong.

Just hours after dropping his brand-new single Lemonade, the global superstar has confirmed a massive world arena tour kicking off in March 2026, with dates across Europe and North America.

Lemonade introduces us to Tomlinson’s new era with tight funk-driven guitars, shimmering keys, and a groove that builds into an irresistible chorus: “She’s so bitter, she’s so sweet, a little taste is all I need.”

Talking about the track, Louis shared, “The most important thing was for the first single to sound ambitious sonically. It had to be big and fun. To me, Lemonade really has an instant and natural personality. It ended up being the perfect way to begin this chapter.”

And this new chapter is looking like his boldest yet. Alongside the single, Louis also announced that his highly anticipated third album, How Did I Get Here?, will be released on 23 January 2026.

On How Did I Get Here?, Louis has pushed himself as a lyricist, songwriter, and performer, blending raw honesty with expansive sonics. While he’s long since proved himself, the new record sees him creating with the urgency of an artist who still pours everything into every word, every show, every note.

It’s been more than a decade since Louis first rose to fame as part of One Direction, one of the most successful boybands in history. But over the past seven years, he’s carved out a solo career entirely on his own terms.

His debut album, Walls (2020), introduced fans to his Britpop-influenced sound, while his second record, Faith in the Future (2022), marked a shift towards bigger, more ambitious production. The latter saw Louis playing to his largest solo crowds yet, including a triumphant headline show at London’s O2 Arena.

Now, with Lemonade and How Did I Get Here?, Louis looks set to enter his most confident era yet.
