Record Store Day Set To Return This April

Record Store Day (RSD) will return for its 18th annual celebration on Saturday 12 April, 2025.

The global event, which has become a cornerstone of vinyl culture, brings music fans, artists, and independent record stores together to celebrate the art of the record.

Over 270 independent record shops across the UK, along with thousands worldwide, will participate in this year’s event. Record Store Day is renowned for its exclusive vinyl releases, live performances, and the unique experience it offers music lovers. This year’s edition is expected to continue the tradition of blending music discovery with community spirit.

Since its inception in 2007, Record Store Day has grown into a global phenomenon, contributing significantly to the resurgence of vinyl records. The event is marked by exclusive vinyl and CD releases, in-store performances, and special promotions, creating a unique experience for music fans of all ages.

To celebrate, RSD 2025 introduces a new collaboration with DEYA Brewing Company, a Cheltenham-based craft brewery. DEYA will produce a special Record Store Day beer, available at participating record stores, bottle shops, and pubs in April.

Speaking on the collaboration, Nicci Peet, Social Media & Marketing Manager at DEYA, said, “We’re really excited to partner with Record Store Day. Music has been an important part of DEYA and our Taprooms so this felt like a natural fit. We’re passionate about independent venues and the art of vinyl and love the work Record Store Day does to support record shops and the industry. We’re here to help facilitate good vibes.”

As the date approaches, fans are encouraged to stay tuned for announcements for the much-anticipated list of exclusive releases and event details.
