With the release of Olivia Rodrigo’s GUTS World Tour concert film on Netflix today, we can finally relive our favourite sets, outfits and dances. Equally, those of us who never got the chance to make it to a show, get to feel like we lived it anyway. Here is a few of our top five moments from across the GUTS World Tour to celebrate the release!

Chappell x Olivia

You may remember that she was the opening act for the first leg of the GUTS World Tour, but Rodrigo knew Chappell Roan long before that. Back in 2022, Roan supported Rodrigo for select performances on the Sour Tour. Although her time on the GUTS stage came to an end in April, Rodrigo once again welcomed her back at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles for their own take on Roan’s HOT TO GO! Since the concert film was also recorded across two of the shows in the city, it looks like this performance will be included.

Olivia’s Grandpa’s 70th

This one has to go down as the most heartwarming of the tour. At her show in Denver, Rodrigo introduced the room to her own Grandpa who was in the audience. While the light is normally all on her, she was able to give him his time to shine, announcing that it was his 70th birthday that day. Of course, she got the crowd to come together to sing Happy Birthday to him in a moment that is sure to be cherished forever.

GUTS (spilled) Announcement

Lucky fans at the United Center in Chicago on March 19th were the first to find out that there would be a deluxe version of the GUTS album, titled GUTS (spilled). During get him back! Rodrigo and the GUTS tour dancers usually screw up and throw pieces of paper into the crowd. At this show, instead of tossing them away, they paused to unfold them with each revealing the names of new tracks and the words ‘GUTS DELUXE OUT FRIDAY’ were displayed on Rodrigo’s piece. Despite many fans having already heard the tracks from special GUTS vinyl variants, fans were beyond excited to have them officially available to download and stream.

Sheryl x Olivia

There were too many incredible surprise guests to name them all but this one was something special. Whilst it was not the first time that the pair had sung together, having the legendary Sheryl Crow join you on stage in the iconic Music City that is Nashville, Tennessee, has to be an extraordinary feeling. Describing her as ‘one of the most talented, most wonderful, kindest human beings’, Rodrigo had Crow take the stage with her as they sang a stunning duet of Crow’s If It Makes You Happy.

All I Want Live at GUTS

After 89 shows, All I Want finally made its GUTS World Tour debut in Melbourne on the final leg of the tour. Sitting down for some acoustic tracks, Rodrigo reflected on the tour so far, realising there was one song in particular that had yet to be played. She went on to ask, ‘I was wondering if you guys would be cool if we played All I Want?’, a question that was quickly answered by the eruption of screams across the arena. As a fan favourite, modern Disney classic and one that helped launch her career, it was a welcome surprise and a full circle moment for both the fans and Rodrigo.
