The Nominees:

The Eras Tour (Taylor Swift)

The Eras Tour is the ongoing sixth concert tour by American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift, who described it as a journey through all of her musical eras. A homage to her albums, the Eras Tour is her most expansive tour yet, with 151 shows across five continents.

Announced after the release of her tenth studio album, Midnights, the Eras Tour is Swift’s second all-stadium tour after the 2018 Reputation Stadium Tour. The show has received rave reviews from critics, who emphasised its concept, production, aesthetics and immersive ambience, as well as Swift’s musicianship, stage presence and versatility.

Music of The Spheres (Coldplay)

Announced in October 2021 in support of their ninth studio album, Music of the Spheres, and marked a return to live performing after the COVID-19 pandemic. The band had not toured for their previous record, Everyday Life, putting shows on hold until they could devise an environmentally friendly approach. According to a plan they developed for over two years, CO2 emissions are meant to be reduced by 50% in comparison to A Head Full of Dreams Tour (2016–17), and the band have partnered with numerous brands to achieve this.

In 2024, the Music of the Spheres tour hit numerous dates across Europe, Asia, Australia and New Zealand, with additional dates added in 2025.

GUTS World Tour (Olivia Rodrigo)

Olivia Rodrigo’s highly anticipated GUTS World Tour ran from February through August 2024, marking her biggest concert series yet. This tour follows the release of her sophomore album, GUTS, which features hits like Vampire and Bad Idea Right?. Starting in North America and moving through Europe, Rodrigo played more than 80 shows, including several back-to-back performances in major cities like New York, London, and Paris.

The tour featured a huge lineup of supporting acts: Chappell Roan, The Breeders, Remi Wolf, and PinkPantheress on select dates. Alongside these performances, Rodrigo also introduced an initiative called Fund 4 Good, which allocated a portion of ticket sales to community-based nonprofits that advocate for women’s rights, education, and health – a cause she has been increasingly vocal about in recent interviews.

Pink Friday 2 (Nicki Minaj)

Nicki Minaj’s Pink Friday 2 Tour, launched to coincide with her highly anticipated album release, is taking her around the world in 2024 with a bold production centred around Gag City – a hot-pink cityscape inspired by her album’s themes. Kicking off on March 1 in Oakland, California, the North American leg included cities such as Las Vegas, Atlanta, New York, and Austin, before crossing over to Europe for performances in major cities like London, Paris, Berlin, and Amsterdam.

The tour delivered a high-energy setlist that combined new songs from Pink Friday 2, including tracks like FTCU and Super Freaky Girl – with fan-favourite hits like Super Bass, Starships, and Anaconda.

The Show: Live on Tour (Niall Horan)

Niall Horan’s The Show – Live On Tour 2024 marked his most significant solo tour since the Flicker World Tour in 2018. This tour coincided with the release of his latest album, The Show, which received positive reviews and debuted at number one on the UK charts. Horan performed across North America, Europe, and Australia, showcasing songs from all three of his solo albums, including popular hits and new tracks.

Horan expressed his excitement about being back on stage, saying, “There’s nothing better than watching the crowd sing back to you with all that emotion on their faces.” The tour kicked off in February 2024, with stops in major cities like Dublin, London, and Paris, before moving to Australia and then back to the U.S.
