Admin Assistant

A little about the role…

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented administrative assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to That Fangirl Life’s management team and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations in our virtual office.

This person should be highly organized, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and possess excellent communication skills. This will be a varied role, but the main duties will require overseeing the TFGL email inbox and helping out in other areas where required.

This role will be shared with another Admin Assistant who will be on maternity leave over the summer.

Key roles and responsibilities

  • Answer and direct incoming emails/enquiries, and maintain a professional and courteous demeanour at all times.
  • Monitor inbox and ensure all queries are responded to in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and distribute reports, memos, letters, and other documents as needed.
  • Occasional web work may be required through WordPress.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

* This role is voluntary and therefore, unpaid—everyone who contributes to the site, whether as a writer or editor does so for free.
