We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Editorial Assistant to join our growing, global team. The ideal candidate (UK-based) will support our editorial team in producing high-quality content for our website that resonates with our audience, managing our contributing team to ensure that content is delivered on time, and formatting written work into website-ready content.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to kickstart their career in digital media and publishing. Prior writing experience (in British English) is essential.

It is expected that this role will be less than 15 hours per week.

Key roles and responsibilities

  • Assist the editorial team in planning, creating, and publishing content across our digital platforms
  • Proofread and edit articles, ensuring they meet our style guidelines and are free of spelling and grammatical errors
  • Coordinate with contributors to ensure timely submission of content
  • Assist in managing our content calendar
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate new content ideas and themes
  • Help maintain and update our website, ensuring content is current and engaging
