About the role:
TFCH by That Fangirl Life (full name to be announced upon launch) is a creative platform and community designed to empower fangirls to turn their passions into careers. We believe that fandom isn’t just for fun. For many, it’s effects and impact can be a formative experience that helps them decide what they want to do with their lives.
We’re on the lookout for a creative, organised, and pop-culture-obsessed Social Media Assistant to support the daily management and growth of our social platforms. You’ll play a key role in shaping our voice, growing our community, and spreading the word about career resources made just for fangirls.
You’ll be working exclusively on the TFCH socials, delivering resources, insights and job listings to help demystify the entertainment industry for aspirising industry professionals.
Responsibilities
- Create and schedule engaging content on LinkedIn
- Assist in planning and executing content calendars
- Stay on top of social trends, especially within fandoms, Gen Z culture, and the entertainment industry
- Help repurpose content from our podcast, blog, and newsletters
- Respond to DMs and community comments in an authentic, brand-aligned tone
- Support in launching social campaigns for new initiatives, events, or partnerships
- Occasionally help with live social media coverage for virtual or in-person events
What we’re looking for
- You have a pulse on fandom culture and a genuine interest in music, pop culture, and the communities that form around them
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- A passion for helping others feel confident and seen
- Self-motivation and the ability to work independently
- Experience with social scheduling tools (like Hootsuite or Buffer) is a plus
