We’re here to keep you in the know of all the best new indie and alternative singles, EPs, and albums out each month; so here’s our March edition. Make sure to get in touch, and let us know if you listen to and love any of this new music!
The much awaited 7th album from Charli XCX arrived last Friday. I love this new album, with an amazing mix of styles making it a super interesting listen. I especially love the features with collabs from other indie favourites like Caroline Polachek, Christine and the Queens, and Rina Sawayama. My current favourite tracks are Yuck and Good Ones.
Cece Coakley is the best artist I have discovered in the last month and a with only three songs on Spotify, I can’t wait to see what she releases next. Monday Morning is the latest of these songs to be put out, and it is a great upbeat love song. Highly recommend listening on your Monday morning commute to give you the energy for the week.
KAWALA have finally put out their debut album after a few years of great singles and EPs. This album Better With You is exactly what I was hoping for, with a summer vibe perfect for festival season. It includes their big hit of Ticket To Ride and new favourites like Hypnotised.
If you are a fan of people like Julia Michaels, I highly recommend checking out Lizzy McAlpine. Her newest single Reckless Driving is an amazing duet with Ben Kessler and I’ve been completely obsessed since it came out. It gives Olivia Rodrigo/Taylor Swift feelings, full of driving metaphors. Hopefully a new album will follow this single, but in the meantime check out Lizzy’s album Give Me a Minute if you have never heard of her!
Having just come off tour with Kacey Musgraves and King Princess, MUNA have announced their new self titled album due later this year and the newest single Anything But Me. This very much feels like a continuation of what they started when they released Silk Chiffon with Phoebe Bridgers in 2021 and I am absolutely loving this new direction.
The podcast has returned for series four, and in our first episode – which you can listen to here – Laurel is joined by All The Love Soph, to discuss how Sophie entered the 1D fandom during the pandemic, the highs and lows of being part of the fandom, and why Sophie stopped talking about Larry online. We’re so happy to have it back, so follow us on your podcast streaming site of choice to be updated when our new episodes are out. P.s. they’re out every Friday!
